My Silkie Laid An Egg!!!

My silkie just layed an egg tonight, ( my first experience) and I have to go away for the weekend, so I can't keep an eye on her for a few days. I have two hens, a white and a buff, and I'm not really sure which one laid the egg. They both seem to give it a little attention, but neither of them seem to really want to sit on it for long? Should I take the egg away so they lay more or just leave it for them? I don't even know if it's fertile or not!

You really should wait on them maturing a bit more before hatching their eggs. Hens will go broody on their own and until then just eat them (the eggs).
