My Silkies are Dirty!!!!!! Please Help!!!!

I have young silkies but haven't needed to wash them yet. I saw a thread once (wish I could find it) that showed step by step instructions. She did it in her kitchen sink. Fill a tub or the sink with warm water, rinse, wash with flea and tick shampoo if you want, then with baby shampoo, rinse. Blow dry. Done.

Very easy. Just like washing a baby or puppy.

oh and really quick what about palmolive on the soap because thats all i have or is it worth running to the store really quick and getting the kind of soap everyone suggested

I don't see anything wrong with using palmolive

There is a great post on BYC about a lady dying her silkie pink. She used a product made to dye dogs, I think. That was one beautiful bird and it lasted a looong time! Can't wait to see yours
