Hello everyone,
I have three silkie chicks that I got last month. They are about 3-4 weeks. I do not know their gender yet. One has an eye problem. Its left eye was swollen and wetness around the eye, and hairs around the eye were less than before. I took it to the vet and got antibiotics and Flurbiprofen eye drops. It has been a week since the visit, the eye is less swollen and no more discharge. But it is less active, often stands at the corner, eats less, and tucks its head. It also sleeps with its head under the wings. What can I do to make it feel better? It used to be the tallest and most energetic one in this group. I have pictures of what I feed them. Last night I tried to feed it water with honey and apple cider vinegar. Please take a look. Any advice will be appreciated.
