The other day my dd and I were sitting in the coop a couple of feet apart. Just watching the chickens and talking. Hens were all in front of us, roo Wilbur was behind us.
We noticed Wilbur making himself tall, and acting like he was tough stuff. We figured he was about to crow with that behavior.
Suddenly, he shot between dd and I straight to the water dish. He was gathering his courage to do that! It was hilarious, we had a good laugh over our "tough" rooster.
In all honesty, he's the wimpiest chicken we've got. You move wrong, and he is across the coop from you. Now the hens wear the pants in our coop! LOL
