My Silver-Laced Ameracauna

It is a rooster - sorry.

It may be a gold-duckwing Ameraucana (very poorly bred), but I doubt it - as that is an unaccepted color, His comb looks mixed, and his legs are the wrong color. I would call him an EasterEgger.

Well I pretty much figured it was a Roo. It is an Ameracauna though. I got him from Black Creek Poultry (an ameracauna breeder). John has been doing some different breeding. Gold duckwing huh, sounds good to me.

I'm curious about your 'silver laced' birds - as fas as I know, silver laced isn't a coloring for ameraucanas. The breed standard only covers Black, Blue, Blue Wheaten, Brown Red, Buff, Silver, Wheaten & White.

I know some byc'ers have project 'silver laced' but those look nothing like the ones in your first post. Where are you getting those birds from? Is this the breeders site? He has a logo for the Ameraucanas Breeders Club, and he sold you that (eggs? chicks? started?) as a 'silver laced ameracauna'?

What's his leg colour? They appear to be willow. If so it's an EE not an Ameraucana.

Golden Duckwing/ Golden is not a reconised color.
The colors that are reconised are-
Black
Blue
Blue Wheaten
Brown Red
Buff
Silver
Wheaten
White
The silver is like yours BUT in the silver color and not golden color... The color of your bird is like what you would get if you would cross a Silver and a Brown Red or a Silver and a Black Breasted Red....
Like NYREDS said if the legs are Willow (Green) it's an EE not an Ameraucana...
