MY SON HAD A SEIZURE TONIGHT

I'm sorry.

All I know about seizures is that there is nothing you can do to stop them once they start, so all you can do is move any/all objects that they can hurt themselves with or hit their heads on.

I'd suggest more testing....it may be a food-related allergic response, too. My FIL had a few about 4 years ago and they attributed them to stress.

I sent you a PM and I am near you. My son has Epilepsy and the best way I have delt with it is education. I am an expert on my childs medical problems. It makes it easier to be calm and comforting and not scared. I dont think my son knows what happens but he looks scared. Dont be afraid, he will be ok. We also have Ativan to give him if a seizure lasts too long or he has several of them, maybe you could ask your Dr about it. Its nice to know we have it. Let me know if I can answer any questions, I will keep you in my thoughts.

Thank you all. here we are today, I'm tired and he's outside playing. . I called the Dr today and he has us putting his med up to a pill and a half two times a day.

Miss jayne thank you for your prayer it was beautiful.

And thank all of you for your prayers.

I'm in for tomorrow

great that he is outside! maybe you can get some rest too!

Ginger, it is an honor to pray for you, thank you!

my son (8 yrs) is praying for your son also.

noon EST it is! i'm already believing and thanking God for all that is being done!

My father gets them (after having had a stroke). It took in all seriousness over a year to get hte medication and dosing correct. He's dialed in now and doing absolutely fine. I know what a terrifying thing it can be to watch.
