My Sport Marans!

Just wanted to share that my sport marans laid her first Egg yesterday and another today!

And a pic of her first 2 Eggs! (They are the front middle ones)

Let me know what you all think of her! And do those eggs rate as marans eggs? Is it a good color? I would like to know what you think!

Also, If you have any sport marans I would LOVE to see yours as well! Show em' Off!!!

So what do you marans people think? I know she is not show worthy or anything since she is a mix of marans, but how about her egg color? Is it good or no? I am thinking of getting a couple of more girls just because I love the darker eggs!

I'm pretty such they're dark enough, that's how dark mine are... 'sport' means she's a mix of 2 diff types of Marans? What two types is she? Shes beautiful!

I am not too sure. I got her from a fellow BYC'er (fowlrus).

I will ask her and see if he knows.
