Interesting. I have not seen this before, but would try poultry vitamins.
It may be a genetic defect, but would be hard to know.

She may need regular beak trimming as she grows or she may hone it down enough if she has a rough surface to rub it against.

I would check the crop regularly when she goes to bed just to make sure it's full at night-this would let you know that she is eating fairly well.

This is all new to me...what does a full crop feel like?
