Do you know where the hens came from and have you checked for him there? I actually own a "rogue" rooster that departed from his flock down the road and chose to hang out at my house! I didn't have any hens to attract him at the time, just food. However, he always went back home at night until I bought him from the neighbors, built him a coop, and got him a hen. Now he sticks very close to (my) home. I really hope you find your Tom!

They can easily go miles away. The first wild hen that showed up here came from at least 3 miles away.

He might come back if he can. All kinds of bad things can happen when they leave home.
Will he know hes way home.
and how long could he be gone. where I live its very wooded and thick with brush so its kinda of hard to look for him.
Their sense of direction is really good.
