It's okay you can laugh. I'm sure I'll find it funny once I get my phone cleaned and my case replaced.

Wow I feel bad for you. My rooster pooped on my before but I probably didn’t smell as bad as that!

I've been pooped on many a time, nothing came close to the malicious odor or size of this particular incident.

You can try a mix of baking soda and a bit of vanilla extract in a bowl of water. Let it soak on the case overnight. I've had it help on other things. But if it's as bad as you say maybe gasoline and a match would be better.

( I know, I worked at a vet hospital for 15 years, I've been pooped, peed and vomited on enough to last me my lifetime) Next time Petunia goes missing, maybe take a carrier with you. I must reply to you with my own tale of woe! Last year, I was carrying my Pekin out of the garage cage--out to the swimming pond (a large rubber horse drinking bowl). I had her wings enclosed in both hands, with her head facing away from me. Right at the outside door, she decided to let loose. The enormous blast hit me on the left thigh. Since I was wearing shorts, I had the full sensation of fresh wet warm duck poop. So much was blasted at me, it ran all the way down into my sock.
All I could do was continue on, and toss her into the pool. I then took off my shoes, socks, shorts and underwear right there, and hosed off my leg. Then on to the washing machine, with plenty of Tide!
In my mind, there is no punishing her for that act. It would only lessen me, and I don't even know if she could understand why I would be punishing her, anyway. (So far, the only type of corporal punishment I have ever used on a bad duck is to hold them, and tap them on top of the head with a fingertip. Of course they hate that. I can't remember why I had to do that before, but I have actually tapped a couple of ducks for some infraction--maybe for fighting. I can't remember. But 99% of the time, any duck is good, I feel.

The case is a lost cause. I also tried my peppermint soap to see if it would help mask the smell. Now it smells like poop and peppermint. Not good. Not good at all.
