Can you give us a rough estimate of the materials and dimensions you used for your chicken tractor?
Also, how many hens will it house?
I like the A-frame simplicity and hope to build something as cheaply as possible.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Cluck, cluck.

Base is 4x8. Peak is roughly 6'. have 4 hens in there comfortably. They seem to have no problems. 4 nesting boxes on the one side and a roost on the other. Ramp can be pulled up by string to garage door wheel to ramp end. Making it impossible for anything to get up top.

Top white plastic can be propped up for extra ventilation on top.

total materials were (trying to remember exactly)

8 2x4x8 treated bottom boards and side rails
6 2x4x6 treated A frame boards
2 2x4x10 treated for handles to move
3 sheets of plywood
3 2x2x8 treated for door
3 1x2x8 for ventilation skylight on top
1 sheet of white plastic panel
1 garage door wheel
1 rope and clip
Hinges for door on run and hinges for two side panels to acess roost and nesting boxes

Then chicken wire for bottom. think that was all of it.
