DeplorableChicken
Chirping
Right now being as I got my chickens by the 6 they stay within their respectable groups. There is a bit of tension between the 12 , but they seem to be getting along better everyday. But they all share the roost without any issues. He posted some photos in the gallery section, too.
My husband and I love this design and the recycled litter containers and trampoline. Very clever. It's also spacious without using a lot of square footage, and if the need ever arises, you can turn half of the nesting box platform into a treatment station. And under the table there's room for a holding pen. I love that.
Do you find your chickens favor one roost over the other? Ours tend to clump together, even in hot weather. But one loves perching on top of a tall platform, separate from the group. Sometimes another one joins her, and other times they're all clumped in one feathery mass on the main roost.
