My Turkey egg progress

Hatched 3 days early.

Does his yolk area look ok?

I have another semi cracked one but I don't see a air hole. It's not moving.. I am nervous. Maybe reading too many bad stories on babies dying.
Do you think I should make a air hole for the semi cracked one?

They can take many hours between external pip to zip. I had one that took 8 hours. You don't want to open the incubator during lock down very often as you can risk the membranes drying out causing shrink wrapping. That first one is very cute, you are doing well.

This one poked through the air cell but never through to the shell. It was overly big too. I'm so sad I didn't catch it. Seemed it would have been ready yesterday!
How do you prevent this?

These are the survivors. Only 4 out of 14.

1 Narraganset
None of my blacks made it.

I lite the others and was no movement. All goners.

Sorry for the 10 that were lost. The 4 that made it will help some. Shipped eggs are tough. I am on day 14 with my shipped eggs, 6 royal palm turkey 2 were infertile. The other for are moving around well. I also have bcm, I set 8 and 1 of those was infertile and 2 had blood rings. I can't see much of anything on the other 5. I will be moving them to my diy coolerbator on wednesday for hatch as the turkeys will be a week later. Yours should start fluffing up here soon.
