My turkey is acting funny?

He is acting as if hes sick or something? I do have chickens but he sleeps in the horse stall and he runs loose during the day. Do yea he gets contact with them but not much? I feed him cracked corn, bird seed, and pellets. Along with table scraps? I gave him fresh water also?

You're going to have to be a little more descriptive if we are to help you. Sick in what way? What are his symptoms? How old is he? And do you know his specific breed?

Hes a Marriam. I don't know if I spelled it right but I know it sounds just like that. He looks close to a wild turkey. Hes just being slow and he isn't showing off anymore?

Do his droppings appear to be normal? Is he breathing funny? Runny nose, bubbly eyes? Head turning color? What sort of pellets exactly are you feeding him and what are their protein content? Though if he's free-ranging that probably wouldn't be a problem. Merriam is one of the wild turkey subspecies found out west.

Well I read that it may be blackhead? But hes doesn't really touch other chickens? His poop is yellowish and thats common in black head. I'm giving him as much food and different sorts as I can. I don't know the protein intake. But hes getting cracked corn, sunflower seeds, bird seed, he ate some bread, berries, and he even ate some kibbles and bits. Haha. But he is eating more today and I saw him strutting his stuff for one of the chickens. He don't have any other symptoms. But his yellowish poop looks browner than yesterday. Oh! And he eats my horses feed sometimes too. Its sweet feed.

If it's blackhead he probably wouldn't be getter better. It might have just been the molasses in the sweet feed. It's not good for birds in other than small amounts.

Keep an eye on him to see if he continues to improve. If he gets worse again with the same symptoms it might could be blackhead.
