I've seen you all help out a lot of other people, so it's my turn to ask for suggestions and comments.
Many of you know that we bought our place back in January (If not, the post about it, with pictures, is here) . It's 42 acres, but most of the acreage is hidden behind the house, garage, and a couple rows of big conifer trees. We have all kinds of critters and our dream is to open a small store selling our beef, pork, eggs, pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and maybe some other craft items or produce. So, I don't want a name with any specific livestock animal or produce item in it. We also don't want to name it anything too specific to the area (like with the nearest town name - Amsterdam or the nearby creek - Yellow Creek) because we may someday buy a larger farm and move and we'd like a name that could travel with us reasonably (IF we move, we wouldn't be moving terribly far, so the topography will remain similar).
My hubby wanted to call it Kruprzak Farm (our last name is Kruprzak), but I vetoed that idea because it is a name that is hard to spell and pronounce - I prefer something simpler and easier for people to remember. Besides, our name will be on everything anyway, so I don't feel that it has to be in the farm name.
Some of our ideas:
Dream Haven Farm
Hidden Hills Farm
Hidden Acres Farm
Hidden Hollow Farm
Oak Hill Farm
Rustic Ridge Farm
So, if you have other suggestions or really like one of the ones I already listed, please let me know!
