Came up with recipe for a quick meal that the family just loves.
I use Hamburger helper Mexician Crunchy Taco mix. Mix with 1 1/2 LBS of hamburger Prepare as per box. I add an additional 1/2 cup of rice and 1 cup fo water. I also add the topping and milk into the mix as it cooks. When completely cooked remove from heat.
Take 10 8" soft taco shells and place a big spoonful of mixture into each one and roll.
Place rolls on cookie sheet. Pour Enclilada or jarred taco sauce over rolls. Sprinkle generously with cheese I use whatever I have on hand) and bake until cheese melts. about 10-15 minutes.
This is very good and a quick meal. If you like it spicy use the hot taco or enchilada sauce to spice it up. We prefer mild. Enjoy
