My very first babies are here! Pics! UPDATE on post # 11

I picked up my first, new little babies yesterday! I got two Speckled Sussex, a BR, an EE and a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte!! I had ordered a Barnevelder (I placed a special order over 2 months ago) but they didn't come in --however they received a few BLRW so let me get one of those instead!! I am in cute overload!!

BLRW--get a load of that crop!!

I have had to clean the BR's fuzzy butt twice now but it's not blocking the vent-- just a bit below it. They are not afraid of me as a matter of fact they already run to my hand when I put it in the brooder. I have some names I'm tossing around and I promised I will have them picked out by this weekend. We are sooo in love with them!

Awwww.... I miss mine being this size - all cute and fluffy. Mine are still cute... well... cute in a half-feathered, rather silly looking kinda way. Enjoy them - they're sweet!

Oh, how adorable -- I know how excited you are -- I just got mine this week too. I ended up with a few surprise substitutions and am just over the moon for them. I hope they stay healthy and friendly.
