I never expected to get one this quick. The girls were purchased about a week and a half ago, and I had planned to give them time to adjust to the new environment and added light. I thought it might take about 3 weeks. What a surprise to find a present for me when I got home. I wonder who laid it. I have one NH Red, one RI Red and one Plymouth Barred Rock. The NH red seems to be the most at home now. Maybe she did it? Anyway, it felt like an early Christmas present!
