My (Very) New Flock

I just got home with my first chicks! I wound up with eight. This is Milly, Liza, Martha, Ruth, Sarah, Dorcus, Alice, and Hermione.

They seem to be settling into their brooder well. Half are eating and the other half are napping. I have to admit, the napping is a little scary.

This little one has been on my knee the whole time. Even when I put them on the floor of the brooder, she climbed back up.

Thank you, sourland! I think I'm getting paranoid already. They were eating any climbing around, then they just conked out.
