Definitely wouldn't fit in your auto plucker, though I could have used one. Fella took a while to pluck. Gutting was much faster.

Whoaaa!! Do you have access to very large ovens at work for roasting....or will you part it out?

hoping it'll fit other wise I will have to cut it, maybe I'll need the sawzaw for this one. Lol. It's gonna take all day to cook too. I'll have to do most everything else on the stove top.

Finished up the other two turkeys yesterday. 25 and 24 pounds respectively. Those were some big girls. The bronze will be broken down and saved for later. The white went to my mom.

Good morning

I was just remembering this conversation I was having with a friend long forgotten, and well before I had the plethora of birds i have now. He compared his aunt's small farm of birds to that of a prison yard and preceded to describe in great detail how each group would interact with another. This thought has occurred to me several times over the course of the last three years, and standing on my porch watching my flock now I felt it pertinent to bring this memory to page and relate it to the now.

Now that one holiday is out of the way we can start preparing for another. I've been casually cutting snow flakes the last few months. Now it's time to crank it up a bit. I'll get some good pictures tonight as they are all up im the windows at work currently.
