I know! It could be a bummer to leave your chickens. I will have to do the same in a year or two, depending on when I feel like it is good to graduate. There is no rush in graduating with pre-med because grade matters more than your graduation year : )

Anyhow, doing community college and transferring later on is good...but you must do your BEST if you want to transfer to a good University. Like mines, the avg. acceptance of transfers is 2% out of state of California, meaning, you must be the top 5% (@ least!) in your community college in order for the university to take you in. If the university must take in students, they would rather pick incoming “high-potential” high school seniors rather than transfers for reasons I cannot discuss publicly.

So...I had friends that got stuck now just because they wanted to save about 5-8 thousands in two years. It’s not worth it because now they have to apply to another university that takes in a larger percentage of transfers or have to wait for another year.

Those are just a few things to think about...

: )

Ohhh! Perhaps the system @ your state is a little different. Its too harsh here, thats why most med-student ended up in Boston and stuff and not in CA. Like UCSF Med-School, sometimes students with a 3.8 out of UCSD got rejected! Its insane! Haha

My goal is Boston though, lot of friends are going there so yeah.

College is not bad, but I need to focus more. My largest distraction now are these pets that I am getting! Lol. Anyways, yeah, I do commute, 30 miles back and forth everyday...not something I WANT to do. Haha
