my white bantam hen is sick

my bantam chicken is not acting the same... shes eating less and drinking less. usualy she chirps all day long and these past 3 days shes just quiet. her comb has something white on it on both sides. when she breathes it sounds like she has something stuck in her throat. i have been giving her water to try to wash it out but nothings working to make her better i need answers please.. :(

Can you post a pic of her comb? If not, there are a couple of possibilities that come to mind: favus and avian pox.

Avian pox is more wartlike, while favus is white can seem almost powdery:

These are just possibilites that I raise...I don't know what is wrong with your chicken.

It is possible that she has some chronic respiratory disease also...or some other problem. I hope this helps some.
 
Is there any stuff by the nose or eyes? Does it sound gurgly or raspy? I'm not too sure what it might be but if there isn't any gunk and it sounds gurgly, she may have a fungal infection in her lungs.
