Who remembers the Muppet show?? I would be glued to the
TV for that show. It came on at around 7:30 and me and my
Dad would never miss it.

Tonight my wife had the revelation that my love of chickens
may have had something to do with that show. Gonzo was always
a favorite character of mine.

Beeker forever. The Muppets rule!!!

We only had channel 6 growing up. So it was muppets and that mystery show where they would call some random number and something happened and the people could win money. hmm, looking forward to the responses to this thread. maybe the chicken craze did start earlier.

My 8 year old was laughing his butt off watching these clips.
Most kids have seen the Muppet movies but those just don't
compare to the Muppet Show.

I just know I am going to have to have a chicken named Camilla when we get ours! Thanks for reminding me!

I am pretty sure I was also influenced by the muppets and was just thinking that last night after seeing the other thread with the ventriloquist who did the Kermit impression and then watching more of him on You Tube and Kermit having a group of chicken back up singers.

I think Jim Henson was a secret chicken lover. Whether or not he had any of his own in his backyard, I don't know. He certainly made up for it with the Muppets.
