This morning the neighbor called me up to tell me to look down on her place. She had a fox running around. When I checked my Wyze cam I realized that the fox had been at my chicken coop an hour earlier. Thankfully I have beefed the coop up so that a fox can not get in. This is the second time my neighbor has seen the fox in broad daylight. I think it might be a female with kits. Anyway, I had been thinking about letting my chickens graze in the yard. That thought is gone now. Chickens will stay safely in the coop and run. Without the cam I would never have known that the fox was at my place. My yard has a 5 foot fence but the gate is short. I have another taller gate but hadn't put it up yet. It is going up today.

Wow! Good thing you had the camera. Im looking into those exact ones for my coop. We're they pretty easy to set up? How do you like the app? I would love to set some up in mine and have a continuous chicken stream....

I love my Wyze cams. Since I got mine my neighbor has bought them and my 2 sons have them. Very easy to set up. Just watch the Youtube video on how to set it up. They have now worked through 2 Montana winters outside but with a protective cover. Wyze saves 12 second videos for free when it senses motion. A card can be put in the camera to record several days.

My only reservation is power. Did you run underground power out to your coops? I've been looking into this and it looks above my level of handiness. Do either of you use solar?

My coop is near the house. I have outdoor electrical outlets near the coop to supply the power I need for cameras and for heated water during the winter. I only have to use a short heavy duty outdoor extension cord.
