I think this chicken is about 5 months old. She (I think) is just sitting around. She does not run away when I get near her. She seems to want to sleep a lot. I know nothing about chickens. These are mutt chickens that were given to us a while ago. Other than her laziness, she has no other visable symptons. Any suggestions? I could take a picture of her if needed, however she looks fine. I even saw another hen jump on her back while she was sitting down.

Yeah she seems sick. Isolate her from the others. How is her poop? Is she sneezing? Are her feathers ruffled? Try giving her a bit of yogurt and a hard boiled egg and watch her. She may need some meds. depending on her poop color and consistency. And if she is sneezing or has ruffled feathers.

No sneezing. A couple of feathers seem out of place. I will look at her poop and try to isolate her. Can I put her in a large dog carrier for the meantime? I am just sick about this. My poor daughter goes out almost on the hour to make sure no one is picking on her!

if i am not mistaken, green poop can come from organ trouble.
also, from eating blue foods, but that wouldn't cause illness.

God bless your little chicken! may she recover and flourish.

Green poop can also be due to not eating enough. Have you monitored her eating and drinking?

You mentioned, big crop...does it go flat by morning? If not, she could be impacted. Nothing else comes to mind at the moment.
