Mypetchicken order -- does their date available hold true?

I ordered 6 baby chicks and they tell me their estimated arrival date is the week of May 6th. Does anyone have experience with them? I am going on vaca the beginning of July and I want to get my chicks when they tell me I can so I can get them in their coop at 5 or 6 weeks of age and give them a few weeks to develop a comfortable routine before I have to leave. Theyonly ship once a week on Mondays, so a week or two delay will really mess me up! I am ready for them now. I wish they could come now!

When they say estimated arrival, they mean within a day or two after their estimated date. Only if something happens (like not enough chicks hatching), they would delay it that long.

When I ordered mine last year, I picked breeds that would all be available on a certain date. (which was a monday),,they shipped out mon pm and I got them tues at noon. They ship out of Ohio and I am in CT.
I would imagine they ship on mondays, and depending on where you are is when you'll get them..I know the site said IF you don't receive them by thurs pm, you need to call MPC.

oops should have added, I called MPC that day, and they gave me a tracking number so I could follow the progress

All 15 of my starter chicks arrived 2 days after the hatch date, alive and well (even though the USPS was slow as molasses about getting them all of 7 hours to my local P.O. - grrr)

In my experience, they've been spot-on with the hatch date/date available. Good luck!

Wow, from OH to CT in less than a day's time?? Mine took 2 1/2 days to get from OH to Central Kentucky! I could have driven there and back in just over a half day.

I ordered from them. I got an email from them today with a tracking number. I'll let you know when they arrive here in Nebraska.

I ordered from them last spring. The chicks arrived by 11 am the following day by airmail from Ohio to New Jersey. All were active and healthy. Ordered from them again this year.

I picked mine up after the post office called me at 9 am.

Opened the box and found DOA.

I've sent them an email and I'm guessing they refund me the money for the loss. I was kind of expecting a few extras in case this happened but they sent exactly the number I ordered.
