We have a cockerel that we hatched, father is either a true Black Copper Marans or an Easter Egger…mother could be EE, or a New Hampshire red.

what bloodline would give him such long legs? He’s a good 3-4inches taller than any others his age and he’s taller than all my hens. He hatched this spring
 
It's probably what we call hybrid vigor, which happens when you cross breeds that are unrelated. That can result in larger size and longer legs. His coloring reminds me of a BCM, and his comb type guarantees one parent had a pea comb. So I think he comes from a cross of the BCM roo over an Easter egger hen.
