Congrats on the duckling, what a cutie, I had a chick hatch and keep her umbilical cord attached, I cut it once it had mostly dried, near the shell, because she was stepping on it and it was causing her to bleed a bit, I'm not sure when the last bit fell off, never saw it.

Yep your gonna be a great duck mama! This lil baby will imprint on you and since s/he doesnt have a buddy she will bond to you like velcro.

She just opened her eyes and she moves more too. She crawled all the way from the hay to the t-shirt!!
