At 13 weeks you'd primarily be looking at color/pattern. In breeds with a single comb, the comb can be used as evidence at this age.@Cyprus - what is the determining factor for male? The comb or the coloring or the feathering (or a combo)? Just wanting to learn the whys for the M/F distinction, and can pass along to my chicken loving kid.
