Thinking about the possibility of them being Ameraucuanas is an exciting idea I hadn't even thought of! The hatchery does carry Ameraucanas so it is actually possible. They do have pea combs. The bottoms of their feet are light but, I think yellow. They are NOT interested in being caught right now and I don't want to get them too stirred up in this heat so I will have to get a better look at their feet when they are calmer. I doubt any of these have been caught or held much if at all. He did have this box of 300, another 300 new chicks plus over 300 layers of various breeds plus goats, pigs, sheep... Mine will have to learn to be pets. I have spent some time just sitting in their pen and most will come within a couple feet of me for a mealworm already. If I stand up or reach towards them they flip out. If I am outside of their pen, a couple of them (not these 2 yet) will stick their heads out to take a treat from my hand. Ameraucanas would have blue eggs

I have never had a chicken that laid blue eggs! Only brown eggs or white eggs from chickens and green eggs from ducks.
Thank you
