Mystery chick ID

I got this mystery chick from McMurray. It started out black with black legs. It gradually grew more copper and clearly male. Any thoughts on what it is? Can't find it in their catalogue. Thought maybe black Star but it would have to be female

It is definitely a cockerel, and I think it's probably what they are calling an Ameraucana but which is actually an Easter egger. Either that or a Whiting True Blue, which is a brand name for a slightly different type of Easter egger.

Ok good suggestion. I had ruled out Easter egger due to lack of beard but the Whiting can be either
