Mystery chick

Those are my hands in the pictures. When we got it I thought it was a bantam because it looked fairly small, but we have never owned standard sized chicks to compare. We have some other chicks right now that are around three weeks old and it isn't really that much bigger than them. That's what I was thinking on the nails. We have another chicken that is missing half of one toe and one chick with four toes on one foot and five on the other.
You have silkie mixes . LOL ya, its LF

I'll definitely post pictures of this chick and our four others at six weeks for genders. We started with three chicks, which are around three weeks as well at this point. Then we ended up with another from Atwoods because my mom thought it was a Silkie and really wants one. Turns out it's more likely a Sultan, but still a cutie. Not sure on the age on that one, but it looks to be possibly older than three weeks because it has quite a few more feathers than the others.

Yeah, the one with four toes on one foot and five on the other is a Silkie and D'uccle mix. The one missing half a toe is a Mille Fleur D'uccle.

I named the chick, which will hopefully be a pullet, Melody. She can be quite loud and makes this cute little trilling sound every now and then.

Today I was holding Melody and noticed that she has some sort of lump on her lower stomach. I'm not sure what this is, but I'm hoping that it isn't something that will end up making her pass away. Are there any specific diseases that cause lumps on chicks? It does not appear to be her crop either, it is lower down near her legs.

Could you have someone help you & take a picture of the lump?
Possible a hernia where the umbilical cord was?
Is it a surface lump or under the skin?

It was found on the 22nd of this month, looked to be about 2wks so it's possible it's about 4wks now. Could we get a pic of it standing on it's own?

Her comb spot has healed now, but she still has no claws on those front toes. Very odd, but it might be something genetic. The lump is under the skin. I couldn't get that great of pictures because her fluff was in the way. I may need to shave that area tomorrow to get better pictures. Here is all that I got for tonight. All of my help also just went to bed, so the earliest I can try for better ones would be tomorrow morning.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that she is quite skinny. I can feel all of her bones, even her ribs. In fact, all of my chicks have gotten to that point. I have never had chicks get really skinny like this before. We also just recently lost a chick a few days ago, so I hope we don't end up losing them all. Is there anything I can do to help fatten them up? Could they have parasites causing them to lose weight? I can't see any mites on any of them.

I have not noticed any, no. Though I haven't necessarily been looking for them. We feed them Manna Pro medicated chick starter. It's the only medicated starter at our store.

I managed to get Melody to poop and looked closely through it. I did not see any worms.
