A few months ago I posted a pic of a bird of the breeding I had no clue, only that it wasn't the Cubalaya male i ordered. Here is the pic of the bird in question back then:

now about 6 months or more has passed and he's filled out.....here he is now......




So we are still guessing that he is either a Malay or Asil? Either way, he draws blood on every chicken I put him with, male or female and despite his loveliness, he is going to the crockpot soon. I can't find anyone around me that has a use for this bird....he is gorgeous, especially running around and fluffing up, etc. But there isn't anyone around here who has any use for a gamebird type - especially one that can't coexist with other chickens.....
