so i got three chickens yesterday. the gentleman that sold them to us said he didnt know what type of chicken this was, but we got it cause it looked nice. any ideas from the more knowledgeable people out there.

Given the source of the chick, mixed breed is probably most likely.

well i guess it be worth mentioning i got it from a feed store in san diego. kahoots in ramona if anyone around knows of it.

Barbed Rock chicks are similar in coloration. Rocks have a small white spot on top of their head and fluffy white bottoms. I can't tell if this is the case from your pictures.

no pic but bottom is like a brownish white color.

Like junebuggena said, the chick may be a mixed breed. I think it would be fun to sit back and watch what it turns into. It will start showing adult colors before you know it.

I will definately take all those these into consideration. And more if there are any. But my personal opinion I think it has the potential to at the very least, be a very pretty bird.
