Crowing
Continue to post pictures of the chicks as they age. By the time they are several weeks old or more, it will probably be easier to tell what they are.

Haha I thought about that. We already have cinnamon queens, black Australorps, and a Australorp/leghorn cross. My cinnamon queens are 5-6years old though and probably on their way out the door soon, so thought I'd go with a bit of a different breed this time around. Guess I'm REALLY going differentI'm the same way. That's why I bought sexlinks this time around. I know the day I got them they were female![]()
Will do, thank you!Continue to post pictures of the chicks as they age. By the time they are several weeks old or more, it will probably be easier to tell what they are.
They could be white anything. They could also be white Rocks.
Yea definitely not leghorns in my opinion, the chicks are too big to be leghorns. I was looking through the hatchery's available chicks and I'm thinking they're either White Rocks or Cornish rocks. And I'm hoping for White Rocks since I just filled my freezer with Cornish rocks 2 weeks agoI have a 6 week leghorn. They look too fat-N-fluffy to be Leghorns. I was thinking they look like Sally as a chick, my red sex-link, but she was reddish, so they'd have to be males. But you're right, at this age they could be anything.
Yes! I was looking through the hatchery's available chicks, and along with the Barred Rocks I was SUPPOSED to get, there are also White Rocks and Cornish Rocks. I'm hoping for White Rocks! They could also be white Rocks.
