Well, the OP mentioned looking at pullet photos and not finding one that corresponded. I figured I'd just save'em some time.

I know I need new roosters this year, but I don't know if I need that many!! (my senior red star does not appear to be fertilizing anymore at the age of atleast 5)

On a positive note

Great!! So how do they taste? Like chicken I suppose??

Yum Yum Yum, guess the husband better get to building a Whiz Bang Chicken Plucker... he said that's the only way he will pluck chickens this year...

I was hoping for pullets, as this was a "surprise" pick, I figured it would be a straight run... We knew it wasn't what the feed store said they were, and we pointed it out to them, but they insisted that Privett insisted they were whatever breed (I can't even remember the name now)...

We like surprises, so here we are...

I will get better shots tonight and post them.

I had a really hard time getting these, and probably not what you needed... they are friendly, but they don't like being held (we bribed with oatmeal).. This is only one of the 3

Yeah, pretty sure those are cubalaya babies.

Here's a photo of one of mine at a little younger age than yours are:

His coloring is golden duckwing

This is a photo of him from last year:

This year he is much more impressive as his tail has become fuller. He's now reaching maturity age for the breed, at 2 - 3 years. He was hatched in spring of 2008.
