Mystery chicks? What could they be?

The first one, I have the same chick and am waiting on the comb. It's either a barred rock or a dominique

There are no feathers on it's legs. It's legs are black and the toes are pink. How old do they have to be before the comb is apparent? I looked and all I see is a little horn. I tried to take a picture, but it's not very visible.

The comb varies on breed, usually by about 8 weeks you should know. *sigh* I'm just getting grumpy waiting on mine!

I guess I'll have to wait 7 more weeks to be sure. I keep going back and forth between a Dominique and a Marans. At least I won't have to wait until it lays an egg to find out. lol Thank you everyone for the help

ok...so I will agree...Doms or Marans since Marans don't always have feathered feet/shanks

It appears that chick #1 is getting a rose comb. Does that mean it is a Dominique?
