Mystery chicks?

I have two chicks I thought were speckled Sussex, but the colours and patterns have me thinking maybe not? Any ideas? Age 7 weeks.

Got a pic of one standing next to my SLW.

The top of her head looks speckled like my Sussex, but the wings look like GLW. Do you have a baby chick pic? Could she be a mix?

The spots on the head are just bits of down that haven't come out yet. Feathers on head looking mostly black. Here is one as a baby.

x2 I had a Barnevelder and Speckled Sussex in the same batch of chicks and they were really similar looking until about this age. If you look at the wing feathers, it looks like some double lacing is showing up.

Good news is, if it is a Barnevelder, that one is female, since the males don’t have the double lacing.

Yes I thought I picked the Sussex chicks lol but now I'm looking up barnevelder it seems to fit! Looks like i have two pullets and one roo. They do look pretty spectacular in the pictures I've seen. Plus all 3 chicks are very sweet and frendly so I'm still happy.
