Mystery Chicks

my gold laced wyandotte was much darker than the pic in the OP. I guess there is a lot of variation. Here's mine at 2 days:

It's not a gold-laced or gold-penciled bird. It MIGHT be an EE which could give some surprising feather patterns or it might be a more traditionally-colored duckwing like a brown Leghorn.

My first thought was EE, this is a pic of my EE Beatrice when she was 3 days old:

She could also be a Welsummer, here's a pic of my late Nancy when she was also 3 days old:

What ever she is, she's CUTE!

It doesn't look anything like my Rhode Island Red chicks that are in the brooder right now. They don't have the black striping or the black around the eyes.

I had 2 chipmunks that looked like your little one back in the spring from the "mystery" bin as I called it. They both turned into BEAUTIFUL Old English Game Roosters!!

they look like chicks i got before when i ordered chicks. mine turned out being buttercups and pendensencas. but the feet color on urs is wrong for these breeds. mine had slate feet. there not RIR because RIR dont have that partridge color. i bet there Partridge something...or EES.

where did u order them?? i orderd from my pet chicken and i only got half the birds i ordered and 4 were dead when arrived and they would refund me or ship new ones cuz they said i didnt have proof. but i ended up being happy with the ones i got. i loved the buttercup!
