Got 2 of these cuties out of an on sale 'premium' bin. Employees were unsure of breed, just that they were considered premium chicks. I have golden laced wyandottes and starlight green eggers which look similar, but not exactly alike. Posted in a couple facebook groups where I am getting a ton of suggestions. Figured I'd try here too! I understand that I probably won't know for sure until they are older and that's ok... We will be happy no matter what! Some of the suggestions were Welsummer, Speckled Sussex, Cinnamon Queens, Brown Leghorn, and Easter Egger.

Do you know what hatchery that they ordered them from? If you knew, you could go there and look to get an idea of what they might be.
Yes, I've looked but the reddish/brown throughout is throwing me off a little. A lot look alike! 😂

Wait until it is more feathered out. There are several breeds that have this chck down.

What feedstore is it from and what hatchery does your local feed store source from?

Almost 2 weeks old and our favorite chick! Would rather hang with us than the other chicks. 😂 Still not sure what she is. We are thinking maybe Welsummer.

Oh she is so pretty!! She does look a lot like my twelve welsummer chicks that are around her age. How is she doing?
