My kiddo thunder passed in my arms today.. she has been light and her comb paled a lot over time. I went to get her today as I was going to get her some medicine (sour crop baby) and she vomited yellow all over me, I set her down to rest and picked her up a while later cuz she was jerking around.. I held her and she died in my arms.. any help identifying what it was? If its contagious or not

when she jerked she like moved her head around, a couple times after I picked her up and she passed in my arms..

Last August I had sick bantam rooster, and as I was giving him some egg/water/food, I must have made him aspirate, as he jumped out of my lap and had crop contents come out. I think he got neurological damage from aspirating and he would just flop around if I didn't hold him, and he passed after an hour or so. I'm wondering if something like that happened?

I'm sorry for your loss.

I agree, it sounds like your Hen may have aspirated and died.
Unfortunately, this can sometimes happen when a crop is full of fluid and the contents get pushed into the airway.

If you want to find out more, then refrigerating the body and sending it your state lab for analysis will give you the most answers.
You can find your lab in this link,
