I forgot I'm doing the NY hatch on here I'll be watching the bator and sewing but my bater is up stairs and so is my sewing machine so I guess I can do both. But I'll have to keep coming down stairs to check the computer. OH I'm tired just thinking about it. LOL
I'm gonna have to bail-out ya'll Lurchie is going to be home from now until Wednesday. Thinking for disappearing for a few days but haven't decided where. Maybe we will just tell people we have gona away and just not answer the phone!!
Update from About.com. Janet's is still working on the cutting and finalizing the directions. This is from the quilting forum. " I won't start at 7 a.m. this year, but there will be things to do at that time (from the evening). I just won't make updates til 9 or so. Then about every hour or 1.5 hours -- will watch the messages to decide how often to update." (She did have to replace her computer this week, so it is pretty amazing that she appears to still be able to do the New Year's Day quilt.)
Her 'from the evening" statement refers to the fact that she will have cutting directions up this evening. I hope so, it is starting to make me a little nervous, but my fabric is ready so I will wait and see how it goes. I just feel bad that this hasn't gone as smoothly as it normally does for those of you that might want to join in tomorrow.
The 2-1/2" wide very dark strips and the medium (or light) neutral strips, the ones you cut 10 each of: sew one strip of each color together lengthwise to create ten separate 2-color strip sets. Press seam allowance towards the darker strip in each set. Square up one end of each strip set and cut a total of (144) 2-1/2" segments.
144 blocks on the wall. I'm off to do chores, running behind as usual. I'll be back at 10:30 EST
