Nope. They are born with flesh colored legs, like in the link.True, but not Phoenix. They are born with slate or sometimes willow legs. And mature to slate.

Relying on a hatchery for information would be my last resort. I raise Silver Phoenix in large breed, they've always hatched with slate legs.
all the hatcheries I've looked up do not hatch with slate legs. Remember, this is where TSC gets their chicks.
I saw the same thing on FeathersiteMy Phoenix, who seemed to be quite good quality, sported orange legs initially.Will be getting two more in 6 days from the same source....let's see if this holds true.
