My Old almost 20 year old Silver Duckwing Old English Game Bantam Rooster had a pretty bad stroke not long ago. It left him completely blind, & having no sense of direction.
He already had cataracts that he developed last year, but he was still able to see.

I'll be getting a video in a bit so I can get some help on how to treat a stroke, before I decide to cull.

Seems like he's gonna go slowly. But he did eat some food.
When I watched the video, he didn’t seem completed blind. He seemed to react when your hand was near him (drawing away), and when you picked him up to reposition him later in the video, he didn’t startle. So maybe he has some vision still? But you know him far better than those of us watching a video do.

Is he still able to find his food and water? Maybe a brief, gentle retirement would be in order.

But if he’s lost, and terrified, and can’t find his food, etc., then yes, it might be time for a peaceful passing.

I explained in the video that he recovered abit since his stroke, that some of his vision did return.
