I placed different colored X's, & O's on each group of eggs.

Ayam Ketawa eggs are Turquoise(Looks blue in the pictures), Malay eggs are Green, & EEs, & random mixes are Magenta.

I do mark chicks with food color on heads occasionally. To distinguish who, I'm keeping, or not.

Depending on what color, & or distinct features the chicks that hatch have, I may, or not have to mark them.
