An EE.

There used to be 5 Silkie eggs, 5 Easter Egger eggs, & 4 random Barnyard mix eggs at one point.

Someone broke a few, some went missing(Probably was eaten), a couple yolkers, & a couple went bad, or quit. So that only leaves the one EE egg currently.

Broody hatch attempt was a total flop this year.

It's fine. Eggs didn't start getting busted eggs, until after my sister's Porcelain D'uccle/Silkie mix hen decided to go broody. She's not exactly the gentlest when it comes to stealing. She also bites really hard too.

The chick in the egg under the broodies, has turned towards it's aircell, so internal pip will happen within a few days.

Forgot to add abit of information at the start of the thread.

The 3 Malay eggs, & 3 EE eggs are eggs that were washed, & refrigerated. They were a couple weeks old before added to the incubator.

Went ahead, & candled today.

The iffy egg is definitely a quitter, so I pulled it.

Everyone else is doing just fine.

Cracked open the quitter. Looks like it died at the day 7 stage.

Gave them all a nightly candling, & one of the Ayam Ketawas that was good, & alive this morning quit. So, that makes the number of thriving babes, a total of 6.
