Turns out the first one that hatched is Wheaten/Partridge split, which results in that blonde stripey down color pattern. Still didn't think my Malays would carry partridge.

This one had me questioning the color, so I asked one of my genetics buddies.

Alot of the other colors like Buff, Wheaten, Partridge, Duckwing, Black, Birchen, for example are easy to identify. But if you get splits like the one I hatched, it can be tricky occasionally.

There was 16 eggs, so there's 13 chicks now that need to hatch. So, I'm gonna have quite a few.
