I have 3 hatched so far, the first was an "x" egg. Idk about the other 2 yet. They weren't even supposed to lock down until Friday.

Yesterday I put my unwashed holland eggs in the bator. Even though a good friend tells me that I MUST wash, I tend to trust nature. I'll candle in a week and see what it looks like.

My guineas are still hatching, i think we are up to 17 now! I am at the Gilmanor swap in Glen Allen VA! Hubby took the last one out of the bator himself! What a sweetie!

Ooo! Ooo! A myth busters chicken edition! My kind of peeps. Here’s a myth for us to test out- which will last longer(unrefrigerated)- washed or unwashed eggs? Washed with water or straight out of the hen?

when people learn that I am a veteran, they say thank you for your service..
maybe when I got out of the military over 50 years ago, it might have meant something..
not all veterans or firemen or cops are heroes.
