After a couple of hours of flying, the pair found a lake.
then they landed.

"Hey look, I see Water!" Orville screeched excitedly.

Maple pulled out a water canteen and put it in the lake that was more like a deep puddle, filling her canteen up as much as she could. She heard wing beats behind her and turned to see a pair of griffons. one of them was wearing a bright red scarf.

Then all of a sudden red noticed something in the distance, then screeched loudly, "It's a dragon!!!" "I hope your training has paid off.

Uh... Red, Orville said then put his just filled canteen away

"What." he asked Orville turning his head.

 

[Kale the Quail]

Maple narrowed her eyes at them against the sun as she closed her canteen and put it in her pack.

Is that an Esk? Orville asked curiosity in his eyes.

Wait... there's an Esk here?
