Question: how do you folks keep track of which chick comes from which egg as they hatch and wander all over the bator? I separated the two batches of eggs with the blue ones but I may as well not have bothered!

I think that is pretty good for a Marans hatch. They do seem to be harder to hatch and you have to keep the humidity down.
You can use a plastic container in the incubator, I have been using a strawberry container cut in half and then banding to tell test breeding hatches apart.
